Going Green Means Getting Clean

August 31, 2016/in Blog /by Aaron

You’ve probably heard the phrase “Going Green” before, but maybe haven’t thought about the benefits that come from it.  “Going Green” includes converting paper files to digital files, which reduces the amount of trees being used in the world.  Even though this phrase may sound cliché at times, “Going Green” has become a worldwide movement, in which businesses and households reduce the amount of paper being used in order to preserve the environment and clear unwanted clutter at the same time.

In the record-keeping world, this movement has become the standard.  Ten years ago, the average visit to the emergency room would include endless pages of paper forms to be later filed and stored in rooms full of paperwork.  Furthermore, if returning to the hospital, locating your record would be much more difficult.  Realizing this, management officials found it much easier to store digitized information on a server for immediate access to one’s file.  Now, there is less paper being used and more trees are being saved, which is better for the environment!

If and when your business decides to “Go Green”, Microtek can be there to assist you.  With our state-of-the-art scanning equipment and team of professionals, we can scan virtually anything you propose.  By hiring Microtek as your experienced scanning service company, you will receive many advantages.  When you scan a document to a computer, the future need for that document in eliminated, therefore decreasing clutter and increasing workspace availability.  Once we scan your documents, they can all be found on a single server for your convenience, which also saves a lot of time finding what you need when you need it.  Scanning and digitizing your records and documents with Microtek allows your company to efficiently use office space while creating a healthier environment for us all!  Whether it is a one-time project or long-term service, Microtek can and will provide you with a scanning service that exceeds your expectations!
