The Six Step Path To Paperless

December 13, 2016/in Blog /by Aaron

Many satisfied clients started out their initial call to Microtek with the same first question, “Just how easy is it to take our company’s vast document archives paperless?”  Our reply that it’s very easy for them always brings a sigh of relief and begins a highly informative conversation.

At Microtek, we have spent the last nearly 50 years perfecting the document scanning and imaging process.  We have put this knowledge and practice to work for thousands of companies across every sector and industry.  From insurance to education, research, manufacturing and others, Microtek has helped streamline business operations for a long list of satisfied clients.  When a potential client calls, we are quickly able to put their anxiety to rest as we review the process of digitally organizing their document archives.  With their questions answered, we are able to get started on the process of streamlining their document archives access and even provide a new level of business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning.

For this blog article, we want to provide a brief overview of the process.  Our system is very effective and the results are amazing.  Here is how it works:

Step #1: We work with potential clients to review their needs and provide a free and no obligation estimate.

Step #2: With the project approved, we schedule a pickup of their documents at their location.

Step #3: Document are securely transferred and moved to our conversion center.

Step #4: All documents are carefully prepped for the document scanning process.

Step #5: Each document is scanned, converted to a PDF or TIFF file format, double checked for accuracy using our quality control conversion process, and indexed (file naming) according to client specifications.

Step #6: Digital files are returned to the client on one or multiple DVD’s, thumb drives, or external hard drives.  They can also be stored online with the cloud or uploaded and saved to our client’s servers via FTP.  In addition, the original documents are either returned to the client or Microtek can provide secure document shredding and disposal.

We want to show you how Microtek’s almost 50 years of experience can help with your hassle-free document scanning experience!  All of our work is guaranteed!  If you have any questions, would like any additional information, or would like a free and no obligation estimate, please don’t hesitate to call us at 314-872-3322 or 800-264-2808 and ask for Mark Sandheinrich or Aaron Liess, or email us at sales@microtekstl.com.  Thank you!
